A weekend festival in Chichester built around cheese and chilli producers, with tastings, demos and family entertainment.

One of five Cheese & Chilli Festivals run across southern England, this weekend event in Chichester gathers cheesemakers, chilli growers and hot-sauce makers alongside street food, bars and craft stalls.

The organisers say each show has roughly 80 to 120 trade stands and draws 5,000 to 10,000 visitors over the weekend. Expect a cooking theatre with demos and talks from producers, a chilli-eating contest, chilli sauce judging, live music and free children's entertainment.

Dogs on leads are welcome. The site is about a mile's walk from Chichester station through the city centre, and the 55 bus stops nearby.
