A nine-day celebration of Rye Bay scallops, when restaurants in and around Rye put special scallop dishes on their menus.

Every February, restaurants, pubs and cafés in and around Rye put Rye Bay scallops on their menus for Scallop Week, from classic coquilles Saint-Jacques to scallop burgers and, in one café, scallop-themed cupcakes. The festival website lists the venues, their dishes and the events on during the week.

The 2027 festival will be the 23rd. Booking a table ahead is recommended, as places get busy.

There is no single festival site or ticket; visitors pay for food at each venue.
