The Brighton stop of the touring Foodies Festival, held in Preston Park with chef demos, street food, drinks tastings and live music.
Foodies Festival opens its touring season in Preston Park, Brighton, over the early May bank holiday. There are demos in the chefs' theatre and the cake and bake theatre, tastings in the drinks theatre, a live-fire stage, street food from around the world and an artisan market.
A music stage runs all day, with chilli-eating and hot wings challenges, a kids' cookery school and a fairground. Weekend tickets cover all three days.
The organisers say dogs on short leads are welcome and carers go free. Preston Park station is about five minutes' walk away.
