Slow Food Aylsham's three-day October festival of local food, with markets, a festival dinner and a community brunch.

Organised by the local Slow Food group, Aylsham's festival runs over the first weekend of October in the centre of this Norfolk market town. It opens on the Friday morning with the long-running Country Market in the Town Hall, and that evening Aylsham High School students cook and serve a three-course Festival Dinner with guidance from local chefs.

Saturday brings the Food & Craft Market in the Market Place, with entertainment for children, followed by an evening wine tasting at the Heritage Centre. The weekend ends with the Big Slow Brunch in the Town Hall on Sunday morning.

The markets are free to visit; the dinner, wine tasting and brunch are ticketed and booked through Slow Food Aylsham, and the organisers say they usually sell out. 2025 was the festival's 20th anniversary.
