A two-day showcase of Suffolk food and drink at Snape Maltings, with more than 130 local producers and live demo stages.

Despite its name, the festival takes place a few miles inland from Aldeburgh at Snape Maltings, where more than 130 Suffolk and East Anglian producers gather on the last weekend of September. Live demonstrations run on several stages - the Headliner Kitchen, 'Skills on Stage' and an open-flame Fire Pit - alongside panel discussions in 'The Symposium'.

First held in 2006, it is run as a not-for-profit with the aim of reconnecting people with the farms, coast and countryside that supply the county's food, and works with Suffolk producers year-round. Children's cookery classes are free and run every 30 minutes, and there is live music through the day.

Parking is free, with disabled parking by the entrance gate; there is no shuttle bus from Aldeburgh. The organisers recommend leaving dogs at home because the site gets crowded, and any dogs brought must be well behaved and are kept out of some areas.
