A weekend celebrating Whitby's fishing heritage and local seafood, with chef demonstrations and maritime activities.

Held on Whitby's Marina Front, this council-run weekend celebrates the town's fishing industry and the seafood landed on the North Yorkshire coast.

Local chefs give cooking and fish-preparation demonstrations, and there are displays of fish caught off the coast, pot-sewing and net-mending sessions, a Fisherman's Olympics, local produce and craft stalls, sea shanties and live bands, and baby lobster releases.
