A free festive food weekend in Cockermouth with a producers' market, hot food court, demonstrations and music.

The last Taste Cumbria event of the year turns Cockermouth's Main Street into a Christmas producers' market, with a hot food court in the Market Place.

There are cookery demonstrations, live music, an outdoor picnic area, children's activities, a Santa's grotto and fairground rides (small charge). The council says the Christmas festival attracts around 10,000 people.

Entry is free. Car parks and a park and ride are available.
