A free one-day charity festival in Salcombe celebrating locally landed brown crab, with chef demos, music and family activities.

Salcombe Crabfest celebrates the brown crab landed by Salcombe's fishing fleet. Organised by the Rotary Club of Salcombe and held for ten years, it is a non-profit charity event that has raised more than £80,000 for local causes.

The day features cookery demonstrations by award-winning and local chefs, hands-on activities and workshops for children, and live music, with events spread across the town from the Fish Quay to Whitestrand. Entry is free; a few events, such as a hosted lunch, need tickets.

A free Crabfest park-and-ride bus runs from the edge of town to Creek car park. Dogs on leads are welcome in outdoor areas.
