A free street festival of West Country food and drink on Taunton's Hammet Street and East Street, with spring and pre-Christmas editions.
eat:Taunton brings West Country food and drink producers to Hammet Street and all the way up East Street in the town centre. It is one of the free festivals run by eat:Festivals, a not-for-profit social enterprise, and is held in May with a second edition in mid-December.
Expect producers selling direct, street food, choices for most diets and free entertainment. Entry is free with no booking, the layout leaves room for buggies and mobility scooters, dogs are welcome, and traders usually open from 10am to 4pm.
