A free September weekend of food and music in the green spaces at the centre of Newtown, mid Wales.

Newtown Food Festival held its 11th edition in 2026. It is free to visit and is run by a community interest company, funded by exhibitors, Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn Town Council and the Welsh Government.

The festival spreads across the Town Hall Grounds in the centre of Newtown, with a main music stage, a producers' lawn and marquee, a food-to-go lawn, a bar, a festival kitchen and a children's village. A free festival app has the map and schedule, and there are fringe events such as a safari supper and ceilidh.
