A three-day festival of independent food and drink producers from the Welsh Marches, held mainly inside Ludlow Castle.

Producers from the Marches region set up in a tented village inside the walls of Ludlow Castle over a Friday-to-Sunday weekend, with some events spilling out into the town. The programme mixes cookery demonstrations, a Fire Stage in the castle's Inner Bailey where chefs cook over fire bowls, talks, workshops, trails and children's activities.

The festival began in 1995 as a venture by the town's chamber of trade, and its organisers describe it as the UK's original food festival; they say attendance passed 20,000 in 2007. Long-running features include a sausage trail and an ale trail around the town's butchers and pubs, and a Slow Food area with free talks and tastings.

The castle is a medieval ruin, so some parts are not accessible for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Well-behaved dogs on leads are allowed in the castle grounds but not in marquees or food areas. Blue Badge parking is provided at Ludlow Rugby Club, with a shuttle minibus to the castle.
