A two-day family food festival in Shrewsbury's riverside Quarry park, with 180-plus exhibitors, chef stages and live music.

Shrewsbury's festival fills the Quarry, the park in the heart of the town, on the last weekend of June. It brings together more than 180 food, drink and retail exhibitors, two chef stages, street food and bars, and two live music stages.

A large family area offers free activities, including a field-to-fork zone, sports and a children's cookery school. On the Saturday the site stays open until 8.30pm, with the bars, street food and music carrying on after the stalls and chef stages close. The festival says it has won a regional tourism award for event or festival of the year three times, most recently in 2026.

There is no parking at the site and entry is on foot only; a park-and-ride runs on the Saturday and the railway station is a 10-15 minute walk. Dogs on leads are welcome but not in marquees, and carers of disabled visitors get free entry.
