A bank holiday chilli festival in the grounds of Eastnor Castle near Ledbury, with chilli stalls, cookery demos and an eating contest.

Eastnor Castle's chilli festival fills the castle grounds over the early May bank holiday weekend with stalls selling chilli sauces, preserves and other chilli products, hot food, cocktails, beer and local cider.

A demonstration programme features local cookery schools, chefs and chilli clubs, and there is a chilli-eating competition, live music, entertainment and a children's cookery school. The castle's usual attractions, such as its maze and play areas, are open as well.

Tickets cover the castle and grounds (grounds-only tickets are not sold for this event) and are non-refundable. Some stallholders take cash only and there is no cash machine on site. Parking is in the overflow car park and the deer park, and the castle describes itself as dog-friendly.
