Weymouth's seafood festival, back on the harbourside and free to attend from 2026, with fish and shellfish dishes, chef demos and music.

The Dorset Seafood Festival has run in Weymouth for 17 years, celebrating the town's fishing heritage and Dorset fish and shellfish, and has raised money for the Fishermen's Mission. After a spell on Weymouth Peninsula with a ticketed format, it returned to the harbour in 2026 as a smaller, free event, with support from Dorset Council.

Stalls serve local seafood and street food, alongside artisan producers, Dorset ales, a Chefs' Theatre of live demonstrations and music on the Après Sea stage.

The site is level throughout and well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome. Weymouth station is about a mile's walk away.
