A one-day June food festival on Bridport's Askers Meadows, with nearly 100 local traders, a cookery theatre and an evening beer festival.
Bridport Food Festival held its 22nd edition in June 2026 on Askers Meadows in the centre of the town. Nearly 100 traders from Bridport and the surrounding area sell food and drink to eat on site or take home, with plenty of samples.
Activities inside are free and need no booking: chef demonstrations in the Cookery Theatre, the Bridport Food Matters Big Tea Tent, and hands-on sessions for young cooks with Creative Young Cooks. A ticketed Festival Feast dinner cooked by local chefs runs on the Friday and Saturday evenings, and a beer festival with more than 100 ales and ciders and live music runs on both evenings, free after 6pm.
