A four-day, council-run food festival across Bolton town centre over the August bank holiday, with hundreds of traders and celebrity chefs.

Bolton's festival runs from Friday to bank holiday Monday at the end of August, with more than 200 food and drink traders selling street food, artisan produce and local favourites through the town centre.

Celebrity chef demonstrations (James Martin, Marco Pierre White and Nisha Katona in 2026) are ticketed, while regional chef demos, two live music stages and family activities are free.

The council says the 2025 festival drew more than half a million visitors, and that it grew from a handful of gazebos in Victoria Square.
