A one-day street food festival on the edge of Dartmoor, with more than 50 stalls, masterclasses, talks and music in Ashburton.

Ashburton Food Festival marked its 15th anniversary in 2026, coinciding with Dartmoor National Park's 75th birthday, and that year's theme celebrated the moor's food culture.

On festival Saturday more than 50 local food and drink stalls, street food vendors and community groups line North Street and Cleder Place. Masterclasses and talks take place in the Town Hall and on the Cleder Stage (in 2026 these covered cheese, wine, single-origin chocolate and the future of food), with live music, street entertainers and children's activities.

The main market runs from 10am until about 5pm, and a social area with music and hot food stays open until 8pm. In 2026 a ticketed Friday-evening dinner with guest chefs, the Dartmoor Feast, was added.
