A winter tasting festival at Tobacco Dock where tickets include unlimited samples from Waitrose suppliers, demos and a goody bag.
Waitrose's food and drink festival takes over Tobacco Dock in Wapping for a weekend in November. Each ticket covers a four-hour session with unlimited sampling from more than 200 Waitrose suppliers, live cooking demos, entertainment and a goody bag.
Highlights include a cheese cellar with mozzarella-making and a Parmigiano Reggiano wheel being cut, rooms of beer and cider, wine bars, a cocktail bar, dishes from guest chefs in a pop-up restaurant, and a festive market area. Half-hour masterclasses on things like cocktails, gravy and port can be booked as extras, and VIP tickets add fast-track entry and a lounge.
It is an over-18s event with ID checks (Challenge 25). Shadwell and Wapping stations are about five minutes' walk away.
