2027 dates not announced yet — usually in September
Portavogie Harbour, Portavogie, County Down · Northern Ireland

A free one-day seafood and local food festival in Portavogie's working harbour on the Ards Peninsula.
Tide and Turf celebrates local seafood, food and drink in the working harbour at Portavogie. There are seafood dishes, artisan stalls, live cookery demonstrations and family entertainment. In 2026 the demonstrations were given by Stevie McCarry, chef-owner of Lir, and Suzie Lee, winner of BBC Best Home Cook 2020.
It is part of the council's Taste Autumn programme. In 2026 free pre-bookable shuttle buses ran from Bangor, Newtownards and Portaferry. A quieter first hour (11am–12pm), with reduced capacity, was introduced for people who prefer a calmer visit, before the main event from noon to 5pm.
