Huntly's annual harvest festival, with a farmers' market of more than 50 stalls, cookery demos and the World Stovies Championship.

The Hairst (Doric for harvest) is Huntly's yearly celebration of Aberdeenshire food and rural traditions. It is a week of events that builds to a market day in the town centre, with an extended farmers' market and street food (more than 50 stalls), cookery and butchery demonstrations, and competitions including the World Stovies Championship, a youth bake-off and a scone competition.

Each year has a theme; 2026's was 'Food Story', about the provenance of local food and people's food memories. There are children's activities on both days, and a Sunday of family events.

Entry is free. The town centre is closed to traffic on market day. Huntly railway station, on the Aberdeen–Inverness line, is a short walk away, and parking is signed from the A96.
